WebSite Primer is willing to create new design or redesign for your site. I can also use the existing design and content to work on cleaning up and optimizing the HTML &-or CSS to lower the overall file size; which will help save you bandwidth plus have the content easier to edit in the future!
The pricing of the services covers what WebSite Primer can do for you. Site hosting and domain registration is not part of the prices or quotes shared; those and other thoughts currently supplied by the client. Suggestions to help the client offered but will not be shared as recommendations - you have the final say.
What WebSite Primer offers in its site designs:
- Original, quick loading pages created using HTML with CSS. I do not offer templates purchased from third party sources.WebSite Primer does not currently offer Flash, PHP, ASP, or PERL.
- Pages will be validated to make sure the markup is correctly inserted and lessen browser quirks.
- Site tested in Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer - striving for cross browser capability.
- Images** scanned and/or edited & optimized for web use.
- Basic search engine optimization of the pages to help your website with all search engines.
- [Optional] Logo created for the site.
- Back up copy of the site design kept by WebSite Primer, for up to one year after completion, in case of emergencies.
Website Primer hand codes the sites' layout and contents so the pages are not limited to being edited, in the future, through a particular HTML editor. Past clients have shared the sites were easily edited in Dreamweaver, Homesite, FrontPage, and other editing programs.
As additional information, for those seeking a local company or designer to work with, I am located in the South New Jersey - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

In terms of Search Engine Optimization techniques used, which what is provided is only to help get your site going, if I won't do it on one of my sites - I will not try to do it on one of yours. You will not find any hidden keywords text, HTML attributes stuffed with keywords, nor other questionable practices. Use of META tags will be limited to the ones needed for your site and will be individualized for each page as necessary.
WebSite Primer will assist you in editing textual content by sharing suggestions or asking questions. This helps to better utilize any search engine optimization attempted being used on a site or a page in that site. WebSite Primer does not offer copyediting services but will only provide suggestions.
At the same time you will not hear WebSite Primer making claims of "gauranteeing you top 10 placement on search engines". WebSite Primer will help get you started, but some of the work will fall onto your shoulders. Content is one key element where the client involvement is beneficial but there are others.
I mentioned that WebSite Primer is not promoting its services under the heading of "professional". That may have struck some people as a curious thing to say.
To explain: Enjoyment of creating sites or helping others toward that goal does not necessarily mean that person does it for a living. WebSite Primer design fees essentially cover time involvement and use of resources on my side. Maybe a candy bar and a Diet Coke or two as treats while working on your site, too.
I don't feel comfortable telling someone a fee, for example, of $300 for a site that is under 5 pages in size and using 2 or less images per page. If I wouldn't pay someone that much, why should I ask others to pay similar amounts?
As more skills or services are gained for offering to potential clients, rates may increase - but in terms of side thoughts that can be added in.
Web Designs Cost Can Be Affordable

WebSite Primer Design Portfolio
Naturally prospective clients would like to see samples of a person's web design work. Especially if considering contacting that person to work on their site! This section shares links and screenshots of WebSite Primer past projects.
It's your site. Therefore your input is invaluable in making a website design become your site. To achieve that, however, the client has their own role to play within the designing process to help that happen.
